LITTLEMAMM OF IONA
LittleMamm, daughter of MammTwo and Ethan of Tarnos, is a
minx of a youngling and never entirely outgrows that. She is small-boned, dark
of hair, and has the sky blue eyes of her grandmother Mamm of Perth.
From the day of her birth her fire-headed twin cousins
Samm and Sarr of Perth, sons of Alianora and Forr, pledge their oaths to
protect her for as long as ever she will need them – for life, essentially.
And so they do.
The three of them are in training on Iona of Albann at a
very young age, and turn staidly serious Iona on its ear in a real fast hurry.
LittleMamm’s powers are met and matched by those of David
of Chattan; the pair of them lead Iona and the Cousin Twins a merry chase as
they are Called to the Far Western Lands and are bound and determined to Follow
that Call.
They learn to control their powers and eventually cannot
resist that Call – but before they go they marry and produce three sons and a
daughter: one son for Chattan, one son for Tarnos (as LittleMamm and David
won’t be around to inherit, their sons are in line for the Keeping of the Chattan
and Tarnos holdings), and a son and a daughter dedicated to the Holy Trinity.
They are far away, but ‘stay in touch’ – kind of – with
Iona.
And yes, the Cousin Twins accompany them to the Far
Western Lands.
Their children are Davidson of Chattan, LittleEthan of
Tarnos, Ataulf, Mamm of Dunnottar, and Wally of the West.
