STRENGTH TRUMPS BEAUTY

No, it's still not beautiful.

It has never been beautiful.

It will never be beautiful.

But those 2x10's that make up that table top are

darned strong.

So are the pillars supporting it.

The purpose of this table is not to be beautiful.

It is to be strong.

It is a WORK table.

It does not have to be beautiful.

It DOES have to be STRONG.

Every day for the next two weeks

right after my eye test

I'm going to give this table another coat of poly.

So that every time I use it

to create

a work of art

I will remember

that STRENGTH trumps BEAUTY.
